TK Tzatziki

A quick and easy sauce for your Greek and Mediterranean style dishes, on BBQ'd meats/chicken, as a simple condiment or a dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized cucumber
  • 1 1/2 c plain, unsweetened, greek yoghurt
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2-3 Tblsp TK Original Flax Seed Oil
  • 1 Tblsp white vinegar
  • 1 Tblsp diced fresh dill or mint
  • salt & pepper to taste

    Method

      • Slice cucumber lengthways and scrape down the centre to remove (and discard) the seeds. 
      • Finely dice or grate the cucumber - put into a clean tea towel or sieve and squeeze out excess moisture.
      • Combine yoghurt, garlic, oil, vinegar and herbs in a bowl, add cucumber and mix.  Season to taste.
      • Serve chilled with an extra drizzle of oil.

      To enhance the flavour, swap out TK Original with either our Garlic or Citrus flavoured oil.
